Ninja Ranks

There are three ninja ranks: Genin, Chunin and Jounin. Each rank shows if that the ninja has passed the tests or not.

Genin

At the rank of Genin you will have the guild title "a Ninja of the first rank" and will be required to perform chores given to you by Master Yung in order to advance.

Genin should show respect to their Chunin and Jounin elders and in turn should be able to expect to be treated with respect.

Chunin

When you are ready you may ask Master Yung to test you. If you pass his test he will promote you to the rank of Chunin. You will lose your Genin title and gain the Chunin title and your guild title will become "a Ninja of the second rank".

You will still be required to do chores in order to advance as a Chunin and will be expected to show respect to your Jounin superiors while receiving respect from the younger Genin.

Jounin

In order to progress from Chunin to Jounin you must pass the Ru Noperi. Information on the Ru Noperi can be found in the guild library. The details of it are a closely guarded secret, as is the starting location. Once you are ready to become a Jounin you will be able to find the start.

Jounin lose the Chunin title in favour of the Jounin title and have the guild title "a Ninja of the third rank".

As a Jounin you will be an example to the young Genin and Chunin and as such you should act with honour.

Titles

Some ninja do not like being "a ninja of the first/second/third rank", and for these ninja there is an option. By finding Master Yung and asking him if you can use the animal titles you will get a guild title which represents your guild level in the form of an animal. The titles are:
